Stained Glass Picture Frame, Turquoise and Plum Flames, 4"x6" Photo, Copper Foil Construction

Sometimes my designs become very literal... this table top picture frame, for example. The first glass that caught my eye was this wonderful plum purple and turquoise wispy glass. The design grew from there and flames of plum purple and white wispy glass darker and lighter along with turquoise and white quite literally spread upward!

The photo area measures 4" x 6". The glass does swoop into the frame area. The frame backs nd photo can be trimmed if they show through the frame. The frame back/photo are not trimmed in the photos shown. The frame measures 6" x 8.25" at its widest points.

This picture frame is constructed using the copper foil method of stained glass construction. The solder is polished in its natural silverish state. Short lengths of zinc came are soldered to the back of the frame holding the frame back in place.

The photo features my daughter in her Renaissance Faire finest!
