Combining my love of Stained Glass and Knitting in one ultra useful box! The lid of this stained glass box is designed to represent stockinette stitch, the first stitch every knitter learns. A lovely little box to store your stitch markers, measuring tape and other helpful odds and ends! 6 stitches...
The "yarn" is an ombre or self-striping blend of dark, medium and light turquoise blue against an edge of textured translucent pale turquoise blue. This turquoise is much closer to a sky blue than green turquoise. The sides are clear bevels and the base is mirror. The metal lines and edges polished to a warm silvery glow. Rubber bump-ons are adhered to the underside to stop the box from sliding on your table top.
Constructed in the copper foil method, this box measures 3" x 4" x 1.5". The hinge is an invisible rod and tube. The lid is held in place with a bit of silver tone. All of the edges have been smoothed and rounded... as is your knitting!
