Clear texture Stained Glass Knit Inspired Box: Entrelac knit stitches, gift for knitter

A great gift for an entrelac loving knitter! Knit textured ribbed, reeded and cord stained glass forms the lid of this unusual jewelry or trinket box. Squares of clear stripes impersonate knit stitches in an Entrelac design are surrounded by clear dot texture stained glass. Mirror base and clear bevel sides encourage light to flow through the elegant lid.

The textured glass is cut to 1.5" squares and positioned in a diagonal basketweave pattern to resemble entrelac stitches.

This box is created in the copper foil method of stained glass construction. It measures 5” x 7” x 2”. The solder lines are left in their natural silvery tone and polished to a shine. Rubber feet will keep your box from sliding or scratching your table top. A bit of silver tone chain holds the lid from falling backwards.
