Stained glass from a knitter's hand! Show off your love of crochet with this Stained Glass Yarn Ball Sun Catcher! Different shades of white and white iridescent stained glass combine with an actual vintage metal crochet hook in this unusual sun catcher.
The yarn ball is constructed in the copper foil method of stained glass construction. The solder lines are either left in their natural silvery tone or treated with black patina and polished to a shine. The vintage metal crochet hooks are literally cut and soldered right into the piece.
The sun catcher measures about 4.5" x 11"... the yarn ball itself measures about 4.5" across. I would suggest hanging from a nail or hook rather than a suction cup as they tend to give way in the warm sunlight.
