Combining my love of Stained Glass and Knitting in one ultra useful box! The lid of this stained glass box is designed to represent stockinette stitch, the first stitch every knitter learns. A lovely little box to store your stitch markers, measuring tape and other helpful odds and ends! 6 stitches...
The "yarn" is an ombre or self-striping blend of pale, medium and dark grape purple stained glass against an edge of pale grape purple textured cathedral stained glass. Purple lovers unite! Two stitches of each color from dark to light to dark again. The sides are clear bevels and the base is mirror. The metal lines and edges are left in their natural silvery state and polished to a warm silvery your table top.
Constructed in the copper foil method, this box measures 4" x 6" x 1.5". The hinge is an invisible rod and tube. The lid is held in place with a bit of silver tone chain. All of the edges have been smoothed and rounded... as is your knitting!
