Stained glass from a knitter's hand! Show off your love of knitting with this Stained Glass Yarn Ball Sun Catcher! Different shades of teal and amber stained glass combine with a teal and amber blend glass and actual vintage metal knitting needles in this unusual sun catcher... my all time favorite color combination!
The yarn ball is constructed in the copper foil method of stained glass construction. The solder lines are left in their natural silvery tone and polished to a shine. The vintage metal knitting needles are literally cut and soldered right into the piece.
The sun catcher measures about 4.5" x 11"... the yarn ball itself measures about 4.5" across. I would suggest hanging from a nail or hook rather than a suction cup as they tend to give way in the warm sunlight.
All items in my shop are designed and created in my home workshop located in Chalfont, PA. As with any item, if you like the style but would rather see it in other colors, let me know and we can create on just for you!
