Your family will love this hand crafted, stained glass Chanukah Menorah. Shades of solid black, light gray and white wispy glass and a wonderful swirly black and white baroque stained glass are layered over flat panels of wispy white glass to create this chevron or zig zag design. Even the menorah itself zigs and zags, and will stand very firmly on your counter top. The Star of David medallion is hand crafted from glass clay and painted with gold enamel then fired in my kiln providing a bit of personality.

Constructed using the copper foil method of stained glass production, the solder seams are tinted to an black tone. The candle cups are firmly adhered to the reverse side of the menorah and are of an antique copper color. The menorah measures 8" in width, 3.5" deep and stands 5 1/4" tall.

This is a kosher Chanukah menorah as it has eight candles arranged in a level, straight line, not giving added value to any one day of the holiday. The exception is the shamash or “attendant” candle used to kindle the others.

This Chanukah menorah is intended for use. Feel free to allow your candles to drip on the glass and solder seams. After use, soak your menorah in warm water, gently peel any extra wax. With a soft cloth, rub the wax residue into the solder seams. This wax will polish and prevent oxidation of the metal.
