The colors of sunset… red, orange and yellow separate two clear glass triangle bevels on the lid of this new hand crafted stained glass box. The glass forms a zig zag or herringbone design between the two triangles. Bright and versatile, this box can hold anything from jewelry to knitting tools to guitar pics!
The base of the box is mirror which catches and reflects light through the lid. The measures 4" x 6" x 1.5" and the sides of the box are also clear bevels.
Created using the copper foil method of stained glass, this box has a hidden hinge and a chain holding the lid from flipping backwards. The solder is polished to its natural silverish finish. The edge of the lid is reinforced with an invisible strand of wire, adding strength to the lid. Rubber bump-ons are adhered to the base of the box to prevent it from sliding or scratching your furniture.
