Bright shades of turquoise glass flow from a turquoise “flame"... or teardrop which doubles as a handle to hope the beautiful little box lid. The turquoise wisps of glass are set against a clear bright turquoise background. A wonderful gift for a special birthday, Bat Mitzvah or housewarming.
Created in the copper foil method of stained glass construction. The sides of the box are clear bevels and the base of the box is created of mirror which reflects light through the lid. The solder lines of this lovely box are left in their natural silvery state and polished to a shine. The lid is held in place by a bit of steel chain. Rubber bump-ons are added to the bottom of the box to protect your furniture and stop your box from sliding off your tabletop.
Created in my home workshop (aka my basement!) As with any item in my shop, if you like the design but would prefer a different color combination, let me know and we can create one together just for you!
