A wonderfully functional piece of artwork, this stained glass jewelry box is created of white stained glass with rays of various white and clear wispy glass. These rays flow from a kiln-formed glass nugget incorporating dichroic glass grit on clear which glows in a variety of colors. The flowing design of the lid continues off the edge to a handle for ease in opening.
The box is 3 levels tall. 2 drawers fit in the bottom third of the box, each with a glass area to pull open. The drawers are constructed of clear glass and are not sectioned. The main area of the box is divided into sections upon which sits a removable tray which is clear glass and also divided into sections. The base of the main section is mirror to reflect light through your jewelry and the lid.
The box measures 5" x 7" inches and is 4 inches tall. Created in the copper foil method, the solder lines are left in their natural silvery tone and polished to a shine. Rubber bump-ons adhere to the base of the box, preventing it from sliding or scratching your furniture.
