A little zig... a little zag... a little purple, purple and more purple!

Your family will love this hand crafted, stained glass Chanukah Menorah. Various shades of grape purple from a solid purple opaque stained glass to a dark purple and white wispy glass to medium grape with white wispy glass are layered over flat panels of pale purple and white wispy stained glass to create this chevron or zig zag design. Even the menorah itself zigs and zags, and will stand very firmly on your counter top. The center zig is decorated with a purple tone Star of David emblem.

Constructed using the copper foil method of stained glass production, the solder seams are tinted to an black tone. The candle cups are firmly adhered to the reverse side of the menorah and are of an antique copper color. The menorah measures 8" in width, 3.5" deep and stands 5 1/4" tall.

This is a kosher Chanukah menorah as it has eight candles arranged in a level, straight line, not giving added value to any one day of the holiday. The exception is the shamash or “attendant” candle used to kindle the others.

This Chanukah menorah is intended for use. Feel free to allow your candles to drip on the glass and solder seams. After use, soak your menorah in warm water, gently peel any extra wax. With a soft cloth, rub the wax residue into the solder seams. This wax will polish and prevent oxidation of the metal. (Please NEVER place your stained glass menorah in the freezer to remove excess wax. This will cause thermal shock and glass is likely to break!)
