A great gift for knitters or fiber lovers... especially those who love to knit with bright color yarn! Store your knitting needles in style in this unusual stained glass knitting needle vase.
Shades of yellow, orange and red stained glass ball of yarn resembling hand dyed or variegated yarn and a pair of actual blue color vintage size #6 metal knitting needles decorate the front. The focal glass is a wonderful orange yellow blend stained glass. The "yarn" blends from yellow to solid red to wispy yellow-orange and a golden yellow.
Created in the copper foil method, the body of the vase is created of clear “glue chip” glass. A piece of heavy red felt sits in the bottom, protecting the base. 4 rubber feet will keep your vase from sliding on your table top.
The vase measures 4.25” x 3.5” x 7.25”. The solder lines are treated with copper patina and polished to a shine.
