Happy Mother’s Day!

Well, my mother will be on a cruise. My daughter will be working at the Philadelphia Renaissance Faire. Marty and I will be at Rittenhouse Square this weekend with all of my stained glass creations!

Bring mom along for a lovely walk and let her pick out her own Mother’s Day gift! Perhaps a lovely stained glass jewelry box or picture frame?! Stop by the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Fine Crafts Show this weekend. We will be in booth #100 on the south side of the square Friday & Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm, Sunday (Mother’s Day)from 11 am to 5 pm… but we’re always there early to catch the walkers and you!

Below is my newest creation entitled Exodus. It depicts the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt as the water parts and they cross the sea hand-in-hand. The window measures 21″ tall by 25″ wide. The people are 3 dimensional knit wire folks walking towards the promised land. Phrases in hebrew from Exodus 15:11 are etched onto the waves. Inspired by Mi Chomocha that we sing at every Shabbat service.
